MyCodeSnippet requests the following Google account permissions when you sign in:
Your code snippets are stored as JSON files in a folder you choose within your own Google Drive account. We do not copy, index, or process the content of your snippets on our servers.
We store your Google account ID, email, display name, and Drive folder ID in a database to maintain your account. OAuth tokens are encrypted and stored server-side; they are never exposed to client-side JavaScript.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Deleting your Drive folder removes all snippet content. Your snippets remain in your Drive even if you stop using this service.
We do not sell, share, or transmit your core data (such as code snippets) to any third party. The external services used are the Google API for authentication and Drive access, and Google AdSense for advertising on our public pages.
We use Google AdSense to serve ads on our public landing page. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info.
